A bit about my story

I had dogs, rabbits and chinchillas when growing up, but no animals since living on my own and I did miss having pets.

Thanks to my amazing network I had my first ‘sit’ within days of moving. It was a great place to start, looking after three rescue dogs, a Maine Coon cat and chickens. They were very easy to care for and it gave me the opportunity to recuperate after a stressful move. It can be so easy to forget how exhausting and stressful moving can be, especially after a long period of stability.

Reflecting on my first year of House and Pet Sitting I would like to thank all of you for putting your trust in me to care for your furry family members while you go on holiday.

I am pleased to share 11 families have taken that leap of faith, some of which I have visited several times with a total of 22 sits.

I have enjoyed every moment looking after a variety of animals, some not so familiar. Enjoying dog walks, cat and kitten cuddles, Guinea pigs and rabbits rounding up ducks and chickens, and keeping my distance from the snake, as those who have been following me from the beginning will know reptiles are well outside of my comfort zone.

One great side effect of starting this business was fewer migraines so animals are very good for my health :x)

Most have been local to me in Llanidloes, but I have also enjoyed going to Shropshire, Sutton Coldfield and Wootton.
